This class will give you an abbreviated taste of skill-building exercises that the full time atelier students learn but in smaller, more manageable lessons. It’s recommended that newer students draw first and then work into painting after completing the drawing exercises. Students work through a series of exercises that increase in complexity from basic drawing exercises to simple single object still life paintings to portraits, landscapes, and more complicated compositions.
